For the player who likes a bigger than industry average handle. This model is similar to the 161 with a slightly larger barrel. This bat is favored by both power hitters who like thick handles and contact hitters who like the bat control a thick handle provides.

Viper Bats Model 280VB-280 This is a sweet swinging custom model. We took the standard 271 and added a 2.4"knob. The knob allowes the head to jump out on this model. The balance is incredable, and the length to weight ratio is perfect. This wood bat swing great in Maple or Ash.

The feel of this bat is very balanced.The thin handle and full 2.5" barell on this model feel slightly end heavy for the hittere that likes to throw the hands.
